Alison is in Boston visiting. Tonight she taught me that you can make cake in the microwave! We've had a great time catching up and we're looking forward to starting our own business installing solar panels on parked cars.

I just got back from a week in Venice. Joanne flew in for the weekend. We had a great time discovering Italy, eating tasty food... not so tasty food, and singing and dancing in the streets.

Miss Ariya Dararutana is also dominating the graduate school admissions process. She has been accepted to the PhD biology programs at Harvard, Yale, and UCLA. She has interviews at CalTech, Berkeley, Stanford, Columbia, Princeton, Johns Hopkins, and UCSD. In a word, WOW!

If so, insert it here, because I am now back in reality (home on LI) which does NOT have much to do with hot red dresses - on the contrary it pretty much consists of me and Micky tackling the elements on a daily basis. Also, come to Washington DC on March 12 to watch Victoria compete in the Miss Springfield pageant. She is following Joanne's footsteps and plans on being Miss Virginia.

New TOY to PLAY with

Mary Motto had the idea of creating a blog for her pledge class, and I thought it was such a good idea that I thought I would start one for us. I figure we can make it cool first and then invite more sisters. First we must add witty commentary and snazzy pictures. Then we will expand!
